Synopsis

For 220 men who are questioning their masculinity, the workshop “Strengthening Masculinity” starts at the beginning of October. Among them is Hendrik. Since childhood, he has rejected values that are considered traditionally masculine. In this workshop, Hendrik wants to find his masculinity.
Christoph May and Susanne Kaiser criticize these men’s workshops. They see these men-only workshops as mythopoetic male alliances in which toxic values and old-fashioned ideals can be reinforced.
