Story of the film
TRIP-Remix your Experience is a multimedia work of art in which the composers Frank Otto and Bernt Köhler Adams, together with many, many filmmakers, realised 4 feature-length films to one musical piece.
This work of art was created between 2001 and 2005. Our collaboration began with the editing of one of the 4 main films, which later won an award at the Brooklyn Film Festival.
For the release in 2005, we were further commissioned to make an image film describing the complexity and content of the project. That image film was shot in the then still-existing historical water tank of the Hamburg Planetarium.
We also accompanied the subsequent festival tour of TRIP-Remix your Experience around the world with a camera, and made a 90-minute making-off out of the footage.
Since July 2007, Trip has been in the programme of the Planetarium Hamburg as a dome projection.
